We are looking for a full-time project coordinator to join the Cohort Team at CHIP - Centre of Excellence for Health, Immunity and Infections as soon as possible. We offer a challenging and meaningful position in an exciting and inspiring international research environment.

Centre of Excellence for Health, Immunity and Infectious (CHIP) is an international academic research center at Rigshospitalet. We are a dynamic multidisciplinary group of 90 full-time employees working within medical and public health research, IT and data management, statistics and bioinformatics, clinical trial management and research coordination. CHIP is a leader in the field of developing and coordinating international clinical trials and international observational cohort studies involving patients with HIV and other infectious diseases such as hepatitis and tuberculosis, and recently also COVID-19, primarily from clinics in Europe.
As a research organization CHIP participates in many international collaborations and you will be working with people from all over the world. As a result, English will be a natural part of your workday.

Your tasks
You will be part of CHIP’s International Cohort Studies’ team working with the coordination and operational aspects of ongoing studies (EuroSIDA, RESPOND, MISTRAL and others). Your main responsibility with be supporting the MISTRAL study, which is an international research programme funded by EU Horizon 2020. This position is limited to the duration of the MISTRAL study, which is until the end of 2025.
Furthermore, you will also support CHIP’s Public Health team with project management and coordination tasks. You will work in a multidisciplinary international environment in close collaboration with researchers, IT department, legal and regulatory team, project managers and collaborating partners. The position is a full-time position and is currently granted for a three-year period with possibility for extension. The place of work is CHIP, Rigshospitalet with reference to the International Cohort Studies’ Team leader.

You can expect many versatile and challenging tasks including:
- Project management and coordination tasks
- Provide support to implementation of ongoing scientific collaborations and projects
- Elaborate plans and maintain updated status for the ongoing projects in collaboration with the Team Lead(s)
- Take part in investigator and steering committee meetings for ongoing projects, and in international conferences when relevant for the activities
- Quality assurance of research data and close collaboration with CHIP’s IT team
- Maintain and develop collaboration with clinical research sites and other partners
- Manage and report on current grants, and participate in applying for new EU research grants and other funding opportunities
- Communication and dissemination activities (reports, newsletters, meeting minutes, etc).
About you
We expect you to have the following qualifications and competencies:
- Experience within the field of research coordination preferably in the health area
- Strong project coordination and management skills
- Ability to collaborate with many and different international stakeholders
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office, notably Excel
- Full proficiency in English both oral and written
Further qualifications that will be an asset:
- Relevant master’s degree (Cand Scient, Cand Pharm, MPH or other)
- Experience with managing EU research grants
- Experience with public health projects
- Experience with regulatory affairs and Good Clinical Practice
- Danish language skills
- Experience with reference management systems, e.g. EndNote
