Reporting & Compliance Financial Processes, Systems & Compliance Global Financial Reporting Solutions
Global Financial Reporting Solutions is a department under Financial Processes, Systems & Compliance that bring financial reporting to the next level in Vestas. We push for one version of the truth, automated simplified reporting on all platforms and bring value with best in class solutions in close collaboration with Global IT. Global Financial Reporting Solutions is a global department of 10 colleagues who are servicing more than 600 finance users with reporting in:
You will be part of the Global Financial Reporting Solutions team in the Group Finance organisation. You will work closely together with Finance Shared Service Center in Manila, Regional Finance, Group Finance and Global IT to evolve and propel the Vestas reporting landscape to the next level.
In collaboration with Global IT you will be responsible for building the roadmap for future Enterprise Performance Management in Vestas as well as driving or supporting other strategic initiatives and CAPEX projects. You will design and develop Reporting solutions fulfilling specific business goals, ensure that our financial reporting solutions are well documented and support the way the finance organisation operates. You will balance that with important concerns such as adherence to established practices and alignment with target BI architecture and general enterprise IT strategy.
You will be responsible for guiding better system and tools utilisation, including increasing knowledge, competences and skills in the financial reporting landscape. The responsibility includes technical project management, ongoing project involvement and advisory and assistance to other team members as well as monitoring, reviewing and testing solutions developed by other team members if requested or needed. Also, to the extent possible, you should prequalify enhancements request and be contacted for 3rd level escalation of incidents.

Additional information

Responsibilities
- Build, develop and implement roadmap for future Enterprise Performance Management, Forecasting & Planning in collaboration w/ Global IT
- Ensure we have a best in class Reporting Solutions platform to deliver innovative and value-adding reporting solutions to the business
- Inspire the business by delivering new reporting solutions opportunities (tools & technologies)
- Introduce best practices and standards to ensure our Reporting solutions built on our Reporting platform can perform and scale, meet business needs for efficient analysis (reporting, mining, prediction, etc) and are easy to maintain
- Close collaboration and dialogue with Vestas Finance community to identify, understand and document reporting solutions requirements as well as with Global IT BI Architects and BI team members on solution designs and testing
- Close collaboration and dialogue with Global IT Enterprise Architects, Developers and Other EVP areas on integrating Finance better into the Vestas Value Chain (upstream)
- Handle requirements gathering, analysis, solution design, development and testing of Reporting Solutions including Project Management of large Reporting Solutions developments and changes on ad hoc basis
Qualifications
You have a relevant educational background combined with 5+ years of experience from a similar role in a larger company. In addition, you have:
- Solid experience with SAP Enterprise Performance Management solutions (EPM)
- Proven history of designing, developing, testing, training, deploying and servicing EPM solutions
- Great reporting skills - and high-quality analytical skills
- Experience with S4HANA / Group Reporting (we are considering upgrading to S4HANA, and would like your help to recommendations on our Enterprise Performance Management platform)
- Experience with the financial transactions in SAP FICO and how data flows from SAP ECC to SAP BI, BPC, etc
- Experience with Business/Financial controlling in complex environments
- Knowledge of other SAP environments (i.e. SAP PM, SAP MM, SAP SD) and other ERP Performance Management solutions
