Bake My Day is a luxury cake store in Copenhagen, known for our artistic, handcrafted cakes where aesthetics and taste go together in perfect unison. We have been growing fast for the past five years and are looking to expand further this year. We are looking for an Art Manager/Head of Custom Cakes to join our team and lead our Custom Cake production. This is a key hire in a business area that is the mainstay of Bake My Day, thus you will be reporting directly to the company CEO. The ideal candidate should have a passion for both art and cake and be able to create beautiful and delicious custom cakes that align with our customers’ expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic and tactical product development for the business area Custom Cakes.
- Overall responsible Custom Cakes production, including employee training.
- Design and the artistic execution of Custom Cakes in alignment with customer expectations.
- Responsible for the creative team and ensuring that their work is aligned with our high standards of quality.
- Manage all aspects of the custom cake production process including working with other intracompany departments.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and provide creative solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Professional Profile:
- An educated artist with experience working with cake as material or a very skillful and artistic pastry chef.
- A proven track record of creating high-quality custom cakes that exceed customer expectations.
- Experience managing a creative team and ensuring that their work meets high standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance.

- A creative problem solver who is able to think outside the box.
- A team player who is able to work collaboratively with other departments.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of quality.
