We are looking new for a new Assistant Manager for our Housekeeping department. We want a teamplayer, who can work on behalf of our guests and take an active part in making a positive difference. In return, we offer an exciting and challenging job in Denmark's biggest hotel.

About the job

AC Hotel Bella Sky is a vibrant, busy and international work environment. As Assistant Manager, you will assist the Housekeeping Manager in day-to-day operations and department coordination.

Tasks

Your tasks will include:

  • Responsible for the housekeepings department operations
  • Training and supervision of Housekeeping attendants and Housekeeping supervisors
  • Daily organization of the housekeeping department, including room-assignment-sheets, supervisorchecking-lists etc.
  • Ensure a high standard of hotel cleanliness, with daily quality checks of rooms and public areas
  • Ensure rooms are cleaned and inspected according to Brand Standards and checklists
  • Schedule staff according to hotel occupancy and budgets
  • Support department targets and objectives and ensure that team members follow the hotels procedures and policies
  • Assist and support the Housekeeping Manager to maintain a good communication with the other hotel departments
  • Schedule general & deep cleaning and other cleaning projects
  • Ensure that the housekeeping staff follow the safety regulations and SOPs
  • Participate in staff recruitment
  • Manage staff performance according to the companys policies and identify staff members with high potential
  • Keep an overview of stock consumables and order accordingly
  • Deal with customers complaints and find areas for improvement
  • Receive instructions from management
  • Report to Housekeeping Manager

  • Experience
    Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a leadership/supervisory position
    Previous experience with PMS is a plus
