We are looking for a dynamic Junior Product Owner to join our ambitious team, working closely with the Chief Product Officer in the intersection of the fields of marketing, e-commerce and engineering. As a Junior Product Owner driving Personalized Product Recommendations, you will drive the improvements in how our users discover events, using data-driven insights and cutting-edge technology such as recommendation engines, search engines, LLM models, analytics tools and customer data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
The role’s objective is to increase consumer ecommerce revenue growth via Personalized Product Recommendations hereby selling more tickets by converting consumer traffic more efficiently.
- Product Strategy Execution: Assist in developing and executing product, solution and system strategies that align with the company’s vision, having a focus on Personalized Product Recommendations.
- Channel Performance Tracking and Optimization: Use metrics and A/B testing to track the effectiveness of the recommendation system and continuously refine it for better performance across channels such as ROS, Email, SEO, Paid & Publishers.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Leverage user data to understand behavior patterns, preferences, and trends. Utilize these insights to drive the strategy for personalized recommendations.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the culture and e-commerce domains.
- Develop and Refine Recommendation Algorithms: Oversee the development and continuous improvement of collaborative and content-based filtering systems to provide accurate, relevant event recommendations.
- Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (including engineering, design, and marketing) to deliver high-quality products, solutions or models on time.
- Backlog Management: Help manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that all items are clearly defined and aligned with the product goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, and engineering teams to implement recommendation features and strategies. Lead, direct, communicate and collaborate with freelancers, agencies and ad partners to obtain channel or tool specific knowledge and to ensure such partners provide time and monetary leverage.
- Feedback Integration: Create a system for incorporating user feedback into the recommendation algorithm, ensuring continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in product management or execution, preferably in e-commerce or digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and e-commerce platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA) to operate in an Agile environment, adapting quickly to change and delivering incremental value.
