We are now looking for a new Head of Union Relations Denmark that have a great interest in, passion for as well as understanding of working with, negotiating, read and assess, design and guide on collective agreements and who truly understands the value of relationships building.

The offer
As part of Group People, Union Relations is a Nordic team with one local Head of Union Relations in all of the four Nordic countries. This is a role that requires someone with a structural and at the same time cooperative approach. It’s likely to be an individual, who likes working with complex problems and extensive stakeholder management at a very senior level.
What you’ll be doing:
- Be the single point of entry for all Union related topics
- Coordinate and secure understanding of local union policies and processes e.g. cooperation requirements based on collective and local agreements as well as legislation
- Manage and participate in Danish negotiations with Union in Nordea on a Nordea level and on sector level.
- Represent Group People/Nordea in local Employers’ association forums, in Nordea association forums and in Nordea’s local and group cooperation forums (Group Council, Nordea Forum etc.)
- Work closely with the Head of People Denmark on people/union related matters
- Support/advice management and Group People in collective agreement/Union related topics
- Build good relationship with local Union in Nordea with the aim to prevent conflicts
- Support business by negotiating employment conditions
- Securing that we as an responsible employer act according to agreements
You will be reporting to Lotta Erikson, Head of Union Relations.
The role is based in Copenhagen.

Your experience and background:
- You have several years of experience as a lawyer from a law firm, employers organisation, big company or similar working with collective agreements, union related topics and processes as well as employment law
- You are experienced and not only comfortable in negotiations – you must really like it!
- You meet stakeholders with a professional, positive, creative and solution oriented attitude
- You provide high quality legal advice and analysis
- You believe in the value it brings to have fruitful and respectful relationships with all stakeholders including Unions
