You will head the Nordic Commercial Operations team based at the new Smith+Nephew Nordic Commercial Hub at Ørestaden.Strong leadership with a high drive for cooperation
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Director based in the UK, the Nordic Commercial Operations Manager leads a team of 6 Sales Support Specialists based in Denmark. The team is the primary key partner for the Nordic ASD and AWM organisation to support the business.The role leads the team that delivers sales and marketing execution into the countries: local medical education meetings, marketing materials, specialist translations where required, digital assets, samples and training events.In addition, as site leader, this role leads the overall commercial operations of Smith+Nephew Nordics. This means that it requires excellent prioritisation skills and an excellent service mindset.The aim is to create a best-in-class commercial operations set-up which you will develop through your leadership, direction and “walk the talk” attitude.The job assignment includes but is not limited to:
  • Strong figurehead for the new Smith+Nephew Commercial Hub and bring teams together by your leadership.
  • Stay closely connected to the commercial organisation (sales managers/directors, marketing) to continuously understand and meet the business needs, optimise and align processes and ensure integration with Cluster resources.
  • A desire for continuous improvement, by building a strong culture, new ways of working based on strong vision, robust process and people at the centre of everything they do.
  • Focus and prioritise assignments in order to deliver to critical projects and commercial imperatives of Smith+Nephew Nordics.
  • Ensure a high level of knowledge and skills in the team, lead and support change, be a role model and ensure own and team compliance with company policies, rules and compliance standards.
  • Site Management of the Smith+Nephew Nordic commercial hub, facility liaison all sites with facility owners and suppliers of Smith+Nephew offices in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
  • Ensure Smith+Nephew offices in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland meet local legal requirements.
  • Set up and monitor relevant KPIs together with Finance Business Partners and Business Intelligence.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
    As a person you are outgoing and have excellent change management skills. You have the right experience from businesses where you have created best in class business support – preferably on a Nordic level and in a matrix organisation. You are driven by reaching the targets and creating best practice processes that will enable the commercial Nordic team to increase the business. You lead by example and can create the right team spirit to ensure your team feel appreciated, motivated and have a clear direction.Would you like to know more?
