You will join our Custom Application Development team
You will be part of a team with top professional colleagues who develop and maintain complex systems for our customers within NNIT’s strategic segments.
Together with your team you have the full responsibility for adding new functionality and features to new and existing systems within our portfolio. We have long-term agreements with our customers, which gives you the opportunity to develop the systems over a longer period of time based on a deep understanding of the customers business needs.

Your responsibilities as Senior Project Manager
As our new Senior Project Manager, you will play a vital role both in relation to our customers and internally at NNIT. The role is versatile and challenging with a large degree of responsibility and independence, as you will plan and execute projects on all levels. Often you will be involved from the very beginning in the bidding phase making sure that the estimates, scope and deadlines can be met.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Plan and execute on all levels: Overall, milestone and detailed planning
- Establish project scope and overview, create structure and define and manage risk and issues
- Manage stakeholders, communicate and report on all relevant levels at the customer and internally at NNIT
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Ensure projects are delivered according to the business cases including invoicing
- Run the projects according to NNIT project models and combine it with agile project implementation methods
- Contribute to the development of the Project Management discipline and community in NNIT
You are a team player and you will have an important role in our projects and share your knowledge with the team.
Your work meets high requirements in quality, best practice and documentation. Your communication and cooperation skills are frequently used in relation to both customers and colleagues. We work in global project teams with colleagues from Denmark, the Czech Republic and the Philippines, so intercultural work experience is an advantage in order to proactively handle the intercultural differences and further develop the team.
Your qualifications and experience
You are passionate about IT and project management. You have the right mind-set and drive to motivate and lead your team members to do their utmost. You are able to take full control, make decisions and ensure progress in difficult situations. In order to succeed in this position you should have:
- A relevant master’s degree
- At least 4-6 years of professional experience in the field of project management
- Experience in implementing IT development projects (+ 10.000 hours) with more than 20 employees – Preferably from an IT Consultancy business or similar
- Solid competences and toolbox, including estimation, planning, and risk management among others
- Certified in PM, e.g., Prince II, IPMA or similar
- Experience in customer- and stakeholder management
- Knowledge of Agile principles
- Commercial understanding, including a strong focus on budgets and change control
- Natural leadership skills
You can work both in a team and independently and engage with your colleagues in knowledge sharing about the experience gained in your projects. You are good at explaining complex issues in a simple way and you find gratification in helping your colleagues to shine, because you know that a strong performance requires the engagement of the entire team.
You communicate with our international colleagues as well as our Danish customers. Therefore, it is important that you have good Danish and English skills in both speech and writing.
