You will join our Custom Application Development team
You will be part of a team with top professional colleagues who develop and maintain complex systems for our customers within NNIT’s strategic segments.
Together with your team you have the full responsibility for adding new functionality and features to new and existing systems within our portfolio. We have long-term agreements with our customers, which gives you the opportunity to develop the systems over a longer period of time based on a deep understanding of the customers business needs.

Your responsibilities as Senior Product Owner
You have a significant role maximizing the value produced by the team, breaking down features into stories and ensuring stories meet the customers/users need. You will clearly express value through the program backlog and is a confident negotiator and conflict resolver between teams. You own the backlog and is the bridge between the team and the customer, other stakeholders and must be good at prioritizing and having focus on the big picture.
Your responsibilities will include:
- You will be a part of our IT development team
- Create user stories and manage the product backlog to ensure that the product team is delivering the right enhancements to drive business value
- Lead the full product cycle from ideation to user research, design, development and release
- Continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks
- Providing the product vision and direction to the team and stakeholders
- Coordinate documentation and communication to customer and end users on new releases
- Be the voice of the customer and deeply understand user needs, workflows, and how target customers would benefit from enhancements
You are a team player and you will have an important role in our projects and share your knowledge with the team.
Your work meets high requirements in quality, best practice and documentation. Your communication and cooperation skills are frequently used in relation to both customers and colleagues. We work in global project teams with colleagues from Denmark, the Czech Republic and the Philippines, so intercultural work experience is an advantage in order to proactively handle the intercultural differences and further develop the team.
Your qualifications and experience
- You have preferable a higher education or equivalent professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development
- You have an interest in putting your knowledge into IT systems
- A proactive mindset. You are a true self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
- Good understanding of Agile principles e.g., Scrum and/or Kanban framework
You are able to work both in a team and independently and engage with your colleagues in knowledge sharing about the experience gained in your projects. You are good at explaining complex issues in a simple way and you find gratification in helping your colleagues to shine, because you know that a strong performance requires the engagement of the entire team.
You communicate with our international colleagues as well as our Danish customers. Therefore, it is important that you have good Danish and English skills in both speech and writing.
