As the largest and most experienced provider of digital infrastructure in Denmark, TDC NET delivers stable and future-proof connections in Denmark. We maintain the existing digital infrastructure, while investing in new technologies that enable us to expand and improve connections nationwide. Danish consumers are making increasing demands on the speed and range of the technologies and infrastructure, and we expect demand to continue to grow. For this reason, we are constantly working to expand our network throughout Denmark. We are the critical tdcnet enabler in achieving our company strategy. As from 1/1 2022 tdcnet is an independent company with its own IT function. We have just started the next phase of our exciting change journey. This phase will take 3-4 years and is as close to a greenfield building of a modern IT architecture and application portfolio as one can be in a 100+ year old major enterprise. The journey is necessary, complex with many development opportunities for the right candidates.
Your new role
We are looking for a tenacious change leader, who can make the consolidation towards a highly automated enterprise Identity and Access Management platform happen, and who will build a best in class IT-team for the area, working closely with process owners and the security function. Over time, more duties are likely to be added into the IT-IAM team. The Head of Identity and Access Management (HIAM) a key leader in the IT organization with the overall responsibility to ensure that all applications are secure from an IAM perspective. In this role, your key responsibilities will be:
- Complete the build of the enterprise IAM (and PAM) platform. Build the migration & consolidation plan to roll-in all tdcnet target applications into this platform
- Make the plan happen (all execution, risk mitigation and budget handling)
- Ensure IAM awareness in the technical community
- Ensure both effective programme governance and ongoing governance with a complex stakeholder landscape
- Build and manage a top of the class IT team to execute on the consolidation programme and manage the target applications effectively
- Ensure that all future application development includes security by design
The position is anchored in TDC NET IT and reporting to Executive Vice President & CIO, Joss Delissen (part of the TDC NET top management). In daily operation, the role will work closely with Joss, other members of the IT leadership team and business process owners and other stakeholders, with a high level of responsibility and autonomy.
What you’ll need to succeed
The HIAM role requires a senior leader with proven track record in managing a consolidation and change programme with the full IAM scope. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge and concrete learnings from similar programs. We need a manager who lives change, is tenacious in pursuing simplification and automation and has top range influencing skills engaging with peers to realize the maximum potential. As an ideal candidate for the role, you have the following:
- University educated to master’s level or above with focus on IT security and IT transformation
- 5-10 years of professional experience in dealing with IT-security and specifically IAM (ideally with ~3 years of experience from similar role)
- Track record of completing similar activities in complex environments
- Experience establishing and centralizing as well as overseeing an IAM team which is responsible for access control and all associated technologies (Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, etc.) and programs.
- Demonstrated experience with key IAM and PAM technologies and trends (e.g. Okta. PingID, Sailpoint, Saviynt, Active Directory (MS, Azure, AWS), Cyber Arc, BeyondTrust etc.) as well as IAM compliance and best practices
- CISSP or other security management certifications is a plus
- Ability to reduce complexity and communicate clearly
- Natural inclination to simplicity and pragmatism
- Natural flair for stakeholder management and relationship building (across business areas)
- Leadership qualities to motivate and engage a team of specialists
Candidates with lower qualifications, but demonstrable experience / capabilities will also be considered.
