We arelooking for a Head of Business Continuity, Incident & Crisis Management (BCICM)to Non-Financial Risk Processesin Global Business Risk Implementation & Support (BRIS). This is anopportunity for you to lead a teamwhich supports us in obtaining and maintaining a strong risk specialist service.

Your future responsibilities


You’ll join Global Business Risk Implementation and Support (BRIS) where we aim totake risk management in Nordea to the next level by centralising commonprocesses and aligning the way we work with the management of non-financialrisks, such as compliance and operational risks in Nordea.

BCICM team isresponsible for developing and maintaining the Business Continuity, Incident& Crisis Management guidelines, providing processes, controls and tools. Theteam is also responsible for business continuity and incident reporting businesssupport. In the role you will become a member of the Non-Financial RiskProcesses management team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive the development of Group guidelines for Business Continuity, Incident reporting and Crisis Management
  • Steer the development initiatives in this area, such as simplification of the current incident process and transformation of the BCM in order to reach BCM 2.0 with value chain approach
  • Lead and develop a unit of three teams with Specialist from all BCICM areas
  • Business Senior stakeholder management to ensure business value creation
  • Proactively engage with key stakeholders covering the whole value chain from IT to Business
  • Successfully collaborate with 2nd and 3rd Line of Defence and the regulators

The role is based in Helsinki, Stockholm,Copenhagen or Oslo.

Your profile and background:

  • Relevant university degree e.g. finance or economics
  • 10+ years of relevant experience for example from operational risk management, compliance or audit function
  • Good understanding of the business continuity, Incident and Crisis Management and wide risk management understanding
  • Experience in audit issue remediation
  • Financial services industry experience, experience in leading large operations, experience in business-process management and process ownership woul be an asset
  • Proven leadership skills from leading cross-country teams
  • Experience in leading change and projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent skills in English - written and spoken
