As Site Director you will have the full responsibility for all activities related to the Frontmatec site in Kolding i.e. project management, R&D, engineering, manufacturing/installations and quality. The responsibility includes direct and indirect management of approximately 100 employees. You will be part of the management team and secure on-time delivery of world-leading technical solutions.
Frontmatec is an innovative growth company, providing highly advanced robotics, software and automation solutions. They are driven by technology and regarded a leader in their field as a provider of turnkey solutions to the global meat industry. The site in Kolding is the group headquarter with management and corporate functions based here.
The Site Director will be accountable for a professional and high standard project execution and that Frontmatec meet committed engineering, manufacturing, delivery and installation times according to master plan.
As Site Director you will develop the Kolding site and its people to best practise within their fields, where quality and functionality is key. You will “walk the talk” and secure that the Kolding site delivers according to expectations by securing visible goals for all employees, and being focused on the right objectives.
You will report to CEO for operational matters and to CCO on commercial matters.
Your qualifications include at least 5 years of experience with managing a production facility with +50 employees. You are a strong and hands-on Site Director with good leadership skills and knowledge within project manufacturing, project engineering and project sales. You are not afraid of challenging the status quo and at the same time you are focused and solution oriented.
You have outstanding communication skills and you are comfortable navigating among cross-functional teams.
You preferably have a relevant degree or another technical education but practical experience with management of manufacturing, engineering and project management departments is most important.
You are a person with drive and you continuously motivate and coach your team towards reaching agreed goals. You practise a modern leadership style where you take the lead, communicate goals and direction with focus on employee involvement and have a natural respect for other people. You take ownership of delivering what is promised, have the necessary attention to detail and are able to delegate.
The position offers great professional and personal development opportunities in relation to the company’s growth as well as in relation to the group’s continuous successful development.
Location: Southern Denmark.
Travel: Max. 20 travel days a year.
