We are seeking a talented and experienced Head of Electrical Engineering with strong leadership skills to lead our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical design, development, and project execution. Your ability to motivate teams, and having a business mindset to create the right balance between cost, quality, and timeline,
will be critical in driving successful product development and delivery.

You will be part of a leadership team, heading all activities related to mechanical, mechatronics and electrical engineering. In this team we work together to reach our goals, by sparring, mentoring, and challenging each other.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head of Electrical Engineering with strong leadership skills to lead our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical design, development, and project execution. Your ability to motivate teams, and having a business mindset to create the right balance between cost, quality, and timeline,
will be critical in driving successful product development and delivery.
Your responsibilities will cover:
- Lead and manage a team of approx. 20 electrical/microwave/Systems engineers, providing direction, support, and mentorship throughout all stages of product development.
- Securing the right competencies to support our business and future needs.
- Be delivery oriented and have the responsibility for estimates, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to define project requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively resolving challenges to keep projects on track and within scope.
- Drive continuous improvement in Electrical processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Facilitate creation and continuous updates of technology roadmaps together with the technical specialists. Ensure technical roadmaps are linked to product roadmaps and market needs.

- Technical Expertise: You understand electrical engineering principles, design methodologies, prototyping, and testing of microwave and electronics components and systems.
- Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Developing and managing the departmental budget, allocating resources effectively, and optimizing resource utilization to achieve departmental goals. Ensure tasks are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
- Strategic Planning: The ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans aligned with organizational goals is essential for the Head of Electrical Engineering. This includes working closely together with product management and senior engineers to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Technology Assessment: Scouting emerging technologies and trends within electrical engineering, evaluating their potential impact on the organization, and making recommendations for adoption or integration.
