We are looking for top talent to join an exciting, deep tech scale-up in Odense. QuadSAT is currently revolutionising the satellite industry with a new antenna test solution that couples drone technology with an advanced radio payload. Our technology fields are drone and robotics technology, radio frequency and software. QuadSAT has a good track record with industry leading satellite companies and work closely with the European Space Agency.
In QuadSAT we are seeking a project manager that can help professionalise and ultimately bring the company to the next level. You will be a bridge between the commercial and technical team as well as liaison with customers and development partners to ensure that all project requirements match up, as well as to manage the execution and documentation of projects.
Description
This role would primarily entail driving and managing innovation/development projects within the QuadSAT organisation. You will report directly to the CEO and work in close collaboration with the Business Development Manager and the management team. This role provides a high degree of responsibility and flexibility in your work.

You are expected to be proactive and able to see where your time is best spent to best drive the company towards its goals. We are seeking a candidate who is both experienced and excited about working with new technology and challenging the status quo. You will have to function well working independently and in a team.

QuadSAT is a Danish company founded in 2017 that supplies drone-based antenna testing and tracking solutions to the satellite, defence, wireless and broadcast markets. QuadSAT’s system combines advanced drone technology with a custom RF pointing payload. As a compact system, it is transported directly to site and when launched as a mission it will provide customers with insitu testing capabilities, resulting in a cost-effective, operationally flexible, and timesaving solution.

Responsibilities
- Driving QuadSAT’s participation in consortiums for development projects and coordinate activities internally within QuadSAT.
- Working independently to run both innovation and development projects.
- Ensure successful project planning and execution, monitoring and controlling of projects.
- Manage reporting activities of projects.
- Participate in developing and writing of innovation projects.
Essential Skills/ Knowledge
We expect the successful candidate to:
- Experience managing innovation/technical projects such as EU funding programmes, programmes under the Innovation fund, or similar.
- Possess skills in stakeholder management - good at communicating with colleagues, a skilled relationship builder, and able to navigate in a complex stakeholder landscape
- Be a high-performing role model within the project management and project leadership discipline
- Have a genuine interest in technology and ability to quickly acquire a technical understanding of a given field.
- Be self-driven, well-structured, and able to solve complex problems in a timely manner without compromising on quality.
- Possess a high level of skills as a proposal writer with the ability to communicate complex technical information into understandable and attractive proposals.
- English is our company language, so we expect you to be fluent in English (oral and written).
Preferred Knowledge/Skills
- Your formal educational qualifications are not of the utmost importance in this role; however, we envision the successful candidate to have a background in Communication, Business Development, Political Science, or similar.
- Experience working with and writing technical proposals would be an asset.
Travel/Physical Demands
- 10-15 days of travel yearly is anticipated.
