Manufacturing & Global Procurement Assembly & Towers A&T, Region EMEA Assembly Ringkøbing
The assembly factory in Ringkøbing is a part of Vestas Manufacturing, where we produce the hub and nacelle for the wind turbines. The factory consists of approximately 500 employees working in two shifts, and we are looking for an experienced manager to be responsible for the operations including production, maintenance and warehouse. You will be part of the management team with 7 direct reports (Team Leaders). Our focus is safety, quality and delivery.

Responsibilities
- Management of the contribution margin by controlling cost levels for the factory, including supporting the Head of Operations Assembly in the development of the business strategy
- Maximise productivity by increasing output and /or reduce costs, through effective use of KPI's
- Ensure that management of production and Warehouse delivery and customer relationship is performed in compliance with Vestas standards and that all customer complaints and requests are resolved effectively
- People Management, including coordinating resources and balance workload through effective delegation as well as recruitment, development, and retention of employees to achieve and maintain a high-performance team
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are always adhered to across the region
Qualifications
- Extensive leadership experience, including organising teams, both direct and indirect staff, as well as the ability to relate to people at all levels both locally and remotely
- Solid business understanding and knowledge of what creates value for the customers and the organisation (Vestas)
- Experience handling a business area with a strategic commercial focus
- Computer literate, able to use MS Office, in-house database and SAP-based systems (or equivalent) for both administrative and analytical functions
- Experience from process improvement methodologies, such as Lean, or a willingness to learn
- Fluent in Danish and English, verbally and in writing, being clear and a good communicator
- A relevant educational background can be beneficial, e.g. in leadership and technical understanding
