About the department
Digital Health IT is part of the Digital Incubator & Innovation area and we deliver innovative IT solutions to the global organisation across business areas. Digital Health IT ensure that patients are provided with the best possible digital products and solutions from Novo Nordisk. We deliver Novo Nordisk’s entry into the Digital Health space which is a prioritized strategic focus area for Novo Nordisk. We continuously move into new areas, where new ideas, competencies, solutions and perspectives are needed to succeed on our journey.
In Digital Health IT we work closely with our colleagues in commercial. Together we drive and shape the development of digital health solutions, both internally and through external partners, based on smart insulin injection pens, Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)/Blood Glucose Monitoring (BGM) devices and other wearables. Furthermore, we deliver business enabling solutions for collecting data through our digital health solutions and support real world evidence initiatives enabled by the system landscape that we continuously build and maintain.

The job
In the role, you will own and manage the operations of Digital Health solutions globally. You will build Digital Health IT operational capabilities and drive the development of Digital Health Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) Solutions, as well as business enabling IT systems for Novo Nordisk. You will also have a central role in defining the customer service success journey for Novo Nordisk, ensuring a seamless process for engaging with patients who use our Digital products.
The main tasks and responsibilities are to build and manage a global team and ensure they can:
• Ensure stabile operations and support for the launched Digital Health solution in Novo Nordisk
• Ensure support for the first launch of partner facing IT solution in Novo Nordisk
• Develop, optimise and run system management and IT operations for Digital Health solutions and Digital Health Apps.
• Support development and optimisation of QMS – from an operational perspective, as well as safeguard compliance with internal and external requirements
• Drive operations according to standards and best practices in IT and SaMD.
• Manage vendors to ensure system availability, and deliveries according to contracts and KPIs.
You will Chair the Operational Committees with key vendors. You will also liaise with Partnerships & Commercial Strategy in Digital Health (CSCA) and represent Novo Nordisk in formal dialogue with current and future commercial partners.
You will report to the Vice President of Digital Health IT and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
Qualifications
You have a Master's degree within relevant field and a proven track record with 5-7 years’ experience in IT project management, system management and people management preferably within pharma or another regulated industry. You have experience with system management and IT operations, and particularly GxP.
You have experience in driving cross organisational initiatives and business processes across geographical and cultural boundaries. You also have strong interpersonal skills and are able to manage diverse stakeholders and are able to challenge and coach at management level. You are known for your ability to set ambitious goals and your structured approach to deliver these. You can convince others to believe in new concepts, practices and approaches.
Fluency in English (oral and written) is a prerequisite.
