Senior Key Account Manager

Are you a passionate and self-motivated Senior Key Account Manager looking for new challenges?

At NNIT we have a strategic goal in becoming a leading IT Partner dedicated to life science by 2020. We regularly conduct some of the largest and most complex IT projects and we employ some of the top specialists within the life sciences industry.

To support the growth in IT services and outsourcing, we are looking for a strong Senior Key Account Manager. In this role you will be targeting one of our largest Life Sciences customers.

Your responsibilities as Senior Key Account Manager

As an Account Manager you will actively contribute to achieving NNITs business strategy by establishing trusted advisor relationship with your customer, seek new business opportunities and follow these to closure.

Creating visible results with a deep impact on a larger operational area is your key to success. Hence you will manage complex negotiation, define new solutions and convince internal as well as external parties with different perspectives.

You handle the entire sales process and will be selling all NNIT services: Development projects/solutions within life science, consultancy services as well as application maintenance, outsourcing and hosting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead generation, pipeline and account management
  • Prioritization and participation of sales activities and opportunities
  • Responsible for ‘cross NNIT’ sales coordination/facilitation as the liaison between the customer and NNITs delivery organization
  • Contract responsible in cooperation with a bid manager
  • Development and maintenance of account plans
  • Weekly sales reporting
  • Responsible for order entry targets

You will join a dynamic sales team

You will be part of a sales team with an open and informal culture, based at NNITs office in Søborg and you will report to the Sales Director for the area.

The sales team consists of 6 employees and is part of NNITs Life Sciences division. Life science is a strategic area for NNIT and the career opportunities both within the sales team and generally within NNIT.

Sales profile

You are expected to have a relevant master’s degree combined with minimum 5 years of relevant IT sales background, within IT Infrastructure or IT Solutions, and a solid track record of identifying and closing large deals.

Experience in Life Sciences is of cause a benefit, but not a prerequisite. We are looking for a dedicated Sales Professional.

Personal Characteristics:

  • Sales oriented, curious and persistent
  • Immediately inspire trust and quickly establish rapport with your customer and stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, business oriented with a hunter mindset
  • Focused on selling value propositions through solutions and services
  • Experience with sales of IT solutions to Life Science is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • You have a strong credibility; you are trustworthy and enthusiastic and make things happen
  • You are comfortable with Danish as well as English on negotiation level.
