Xultophy® is the first new-generation basal insulin combined with GLP-1 agonist from Novo Nordisk. The product is a key value growth driver for the organisation and is at an exciting new juncture in its commercialisation
Xultophy® has been launched in over 30 markets and there are more to come. The role is truly global with opportunity for growth in all key Regions. The brand has recently received an updated European label opening up as sizable patient population with a large unmet need. Additionally, there is a further opportunity to grow in Japan and develop launch plans in China.

If you are and you believe that you can, then there is a new vacancy in the Xultophy® team. The position is the Global Product Lead in the Global Xultophy® Brand Team. The successful person will bring innovative solutions to enhance patient outcomes and provide strategic direction to the local organisations.
About the department
The Global Xultophy® Brand team is responsible for delivering the annual global brand strategy, HCP promotional material, sales training etc. The team sets global strategic direction for the brand through a co-creation approach with both global and affiliate stakeholders.
The job is located in Denmark, within Novo Nordisk’s Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs Organisation within the newly formed New Generation Insulins department. The position reports to the Global Marketing Director and you will be joining a team of energetic and driven marketing professionals engaged in a successful transition from a pure launch brand to a Life Cycle Management (LCM) brand.
The position
In collaboration with your colleagues in global, regional and affiliate offices, you will develop and ensure implementation of the global marketing strategy for Xultophy®
Your primary responsibility is to ensure the future success of the product by driving relevant projects, drive marketing deliverables and by managing core processes such as budget, approval and planning.
You will be involved in innovative initiatives to support the brand and a greater future prospective for the brand in the market. You will ensure excellence in brand management globally by acting as a strategic marketing partner to our core markets worldwide. As this job requires you to handle stakeholders globally, both internal and external, approximately 20-30 days of travelling is required a year.

Qualifications
The right candidate for this position holds a Master's degree or above within Business Administration, Marketing, Natural Sciences or similar combined with exceptional pharmaceutical business understanding with a proven track record with minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience within pharmaceutical global marketing/medical affairs/sales/project management is expected.
With a strong focus on the developing commercial strategy it is preferred that the candidate has affiliate sales experience or other commercial experiences. To become successful in this position, strong marketing and strategic insight is a must and combined with outstanding stakeholder management skills.
Your communication is always clear and concise, and you can engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience in brand strategy and portfolio management is expected.
An analytical and innovative mind-set is a must to ensure a continued strong competitiveness of the brand.
Finally, fluency in English is expected.
