We are looking for a Country Manager with excellent sales skills, to assist us growing and placing another dot on the A-LEAF world map! The position will be a key role for our international growth, and you will be the one to lead the way with reference to our global COO in DK.

We specialize within the infrastructure, construction and on-/offshore wind industries. As a consultancy, with our HQ in Denmark and affiliates in Germany, Taiwan, India and now US – we join forces with our customers to bring their projects to success, by finding the right specialists, securing the quality and contracts of their projects.

Your responsibilities

  • Establish and build up our brand and being A-LEAF ambassador in the US market.
  • Find, establish and build partnerships with key decision makers in the on-/offshore wind industry.
  • Build, manage and deliver budget and sales forecasts.
  • Set up sales presentations and ensure follow up – including meeting agendas and recaps.
  • Participation in business and commercial events, such as trade fairs, workshops etc.

Your primary workplace will be at our established office facilities in New Bedford, MA.

Who are you? We are looking for you, who are proactive and independent and able to motivate yourself. Hopefully with a proven track record of successful sales performance – preferably from the wind industry in the US market, but this is not mandatory.

  • You have +10 years of experience in sales within renewable energy or similar.
  • You are currently in a similar position i.e., position as Sales Executive, Key Account Manager, Sales Manager or similar – most importantly, you wish to take up the challenge of building up a premium brand that is already well-established on other international markets
  • You have a large network in the US with relevant customers.
  • You are business-oriented and motivated by results and you work focused to achieving goals within our strategy.
  • You can think strategically and understand the market – and you are able to find strengths and weaknesses of the market players.
  • In time, we expect the US office to grow, so you must also possess good leadership skills and wish to manage and lead a highly skilled team.
