SBU NCE Service Nordic & Scada NCE Operations
SCADA Operations is part of the Regional Support in NCE (Northern & Central Europe) area supporting the organisation in servicing, upgrading and maintaining our many SCADA systems for medium and large sized wind power plants. In the department, we also provide After Sales support for SCADA topics. Our customers can mainly be found among larger power supply companies and professional investors.
The SCADA Nordic Operations team make up the Scandinavian countries, UK, Ireland and Poland with a total of 22 team member. It is comprised of 2 teams with an existing team lead for one of the teams. The technicians and engineers are mostly in Denmark, Videbaek but there are also team members in Sweden and in Poland, Szczecin.
We are searching for either a Senior team lead who has the experience and capability to manage the complete Nordic region or a team lead who can manage one of the teams.
You will refer to the SCADA Operations Manager located in Berlin (DE).

Additional information

You must expect 15% travel activity to e.g. Poland, Berlin and Sweden.

Responsibilities
- Being a key part of the SCADA management team in NCE and help driving SBU improvement projects
- Convert strategy into action-oriented objectives for each employee and ensure that all team members understand how their work relate to business objectives
- Provide effective leadership that achieves an aligned, engaged and motivated team
- Establish and maintain good and productive relationships with the customer and internal partners
- Drive improvement in existing products and services to better meet customer needs
- Responsible for all employment matters including hiring, employee relations, performance management, performance appraisals, etc
- Other aspects include ensure focus on safety
Qualifications
- A relevant technical education, such as Engineer / IT e.g. Software background
- Experience with direct team management preferred, a minimum of 3 years management experience for the senior team lead position
- Good understanding of computer systems and networks
- Experience within the wind power business in the technology or service area is preferred but not limited to
Competencies
- Excellent communication skills and is fluent in English (Danish and Polish is an advantage)
- Able to set clear goals and follow up, motivate and develop employeesCustomer oriented and can understand the business value seen from a service and customer perspective
- Skills in relationship building, both internal and external
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrating a sense of urgency in meeting commitments
