As our new Manager in the Procurement & Contract Management. department, you will head up the Purchasing team consisting of 10-12 Purchasers, Procurement Assistants and Junior Procurement Managers, where you will contribute to the development of NNE’s Procurement activities, and hopefully take it to the next level. The Purchasing team is a harmonic and committed team filled with driven individuals ready to walk the extra mile for one another.
The department as a whole is involved in the execution of purchase orders and contracts on behalf of our customers ranging from a few thousand Danish Kroner up to three-digit million amounts. These could consist of everything from components and minor service orders to large pieces of process and utility equipment or major construction service contracts.
By joining our Procurement & Contract Management department, you will become a part of our Project Execution area consisting of more than 200 highly skilled project employees.

How you might spend your days
As Manager within Procurement & Contract Management, you will be working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team where you will
- motivate, support and coach your team. Provide day-to-day leadership and articulate and drive the strategic vision for your team
- act as a role model in terms of culture and behavior
- ensure a strong relationship and efficient cooperation and communication with customers and various internal stakeholders
- coordinate with senior management on procurement processes and systems to ensure effective project management and implementation across the organization
- determine how team resources should be allocated across projects
- ensure the development, implementation and training of best procurement practices
- be responsible for the well-being and continuous growth of the Purchasing Team
- engage and communicate regularly with senior management on successes, issues and lessons learned, whilst also sharing these across NNE’s organization

The miles you’ve walked

- At least 5 years of relevant procurement/purchasing experience in international organizations or in multi-cultural environments
- Thrives best when working in an energetic environment with highly skilled colleagues
- Preferably understanding of and experience with project organizations and governance structures
- Ideally you have had your first job as a people manager and are now ready to take on more responsibility
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or similar
