About the role
We are offering a rare career opportunity in a newly created position, as we are expanding our management team. With us, you’ll get to work alongside colleagues from various international backgrounds and close to both national and international customers. You will be a part of our management team, consisting of three other managers, leading an area of more than 50 dedicated and skilled engineering managers. On a daily basis, we interact with the whole project organization, as our goal is to lead and coordinate the project teams in the same direction.
Your role will be key in this, having 15-20 employees directly reporting to you, and setting direction together with Senior Management, ensuring effective project management and implementation across the organization. In this role, you will have a strong impact on the company's results, and the opportunity to take the Engineering Management department and your own people leadership skills to the next level.

As Manager for Engineering Management, you’ll be:
- Leading and supporting employees within broad and complex project execution tasks.
- Continuing to build on our culture of motivation and multi-disciplinary teamwork among our +50 engineering managers.
- Conducting touchpoints with your employees to ensure a good and inspirational working environment that enhance the performance and well-being of your team.
- Planning and executing the development of your area to ensure continuous development and training of your team members to help constructively build their competences within the company.
- Part of the Engineering Management department management team setting objectives and delivering results that significantly impact the department and company goals.
- Coordinating with senior management to create processes, systems and training to ensure effective project management and implementation across the organization.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Engineering degree, or other technical background.
- Solid and relevant work experience in international organizations or in multi-cultural environments, preferably from pharma & biotech industries.
- Having previously held a role as Project Engineering Manager/Technical Project Manager for multi-disciplinary Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Management projects, preferably within pharma engineering.
- Experience in coaching and leading team members.
- Excellent in written and verbal communication in English.
