Vestas Solutions Enterprise Platforms App & API Platforms
The department govern digital platforms that power Vestas Digitalisation journey and support DevOps teams developing extensions and innovations from small changes to big SAFe based initiatives.
APP & API architecture powers large field service solutions with 15K number of users to, API developer portals, drone inspections backends and many other solutions.
Responsibilities
As IT Architect having technical leadership, your primary responsibility is contributing to successful governance of our platform: meaning the technology roadmap, vendor collaboration, architecture guild management, policy and guideline maintenance, reference architecture designs and publication, defining platform operational requirements and follow-up on performance, keeping backlog of platform features. To qualify for the position, you probably have an education within Computer Science (IT) or alike on at least bachelor level combined with 8+ years of experience with Software architecture & design, where at least 5 years of experience is in digital design. Furthermore, you have:

Responsibilities
As IT Architect having technical leadership, your primary responsibility is contributing to successful governance of our platform: meaning the technology roadmap, vendor collaboration, architecture guild management, policy and guideline maintenance, reference architecture designs and publication, defining platform operational requirements and follow-up on performance, keeping backlog of platform features. Furthermore, you are to:
- Collaborate with functional architects and business stakeholders to define roadmaps and refine EPIC/features
- Collaborate with DevOps teams about architecting and designing solutions that support Vestas internal solutions as well as solution for Vestas Customers and Partners
- Have detail knowledge about the platforms and the capabilities of these in order to propose the right supported solutions
- Conduct technical leadership for orchestration of work executed by vendors including creation Statement of works, education into Vestas reference architectures etc
- Follow up on architectural designs to make sure compliance with reference architectures
Qualifications
To qualify for the position, you probably have an education within Computer Science (IT) or alike on at least bachelor level combined with 8+ years of experience with Software architecture & design, where at least 5 years of experience is in digital design. Furthermore, you have:
- Competence in using ToGaf or alike frameworks, with focus on Application architecture, Data architecture and Technical architecture
- Detail knowledge about at least one platforms areas: App, Backend as a service (BaaS), Integration
- Solid experience within the technology domains of Azure, Sap Cloud Platform, Salesforce. Having experience with taking in open source frameworks and systems to supplement enterprise systems
- A developer background that makes dialog with DevOps teams trustworthy and relevant
- Good insights in the security architectures incl. SDL
- Good insight into CI/CD and release concept using Azure DevOps or alike
- Good insight into test strategies and automated test concept

- Effective presentation skills for presentation technical concepts / architectures to relevant stakeholders
- A technology agnostic attitude to software design
- Design thinking capabilities is beneficial
- Certifications within Azure and architecture development are preferably
- Can create success as part of a team as well as thriving with independent tasks
- Collaborate and share knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders
