Here is a great opportunity to join Ramboll and take on a position where you will be part of a specialized team working with planning and design of Complex Facilities especially to Industries within Life Science and Pharma, Food and Ingredients and the Healthcare sector.
Your role and responsibility as an Architect or Constructing Architect in Process Architecture
As an architect or constructing architect working in Process Architecture you will typically take the project position as Lead Architect or Specialized designer within planning and design of production facilities also including cleanrooms, containment, and advanced laboratories.
Depending on your key competencies and preferred area of specialities you could as an example have the following project related roles and responsibilities:
You and your competencies
You are trained as an architect, constructing architect or similar - preferably with some years of experience working with Industrial Facility programming, planning and design e.g. to the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnological Industry, Food industry or within the sectors of Healthcare and Education.
You have a strong client focus and interest in understanding the objectives and needs of the customer. You are familiar with translating User Requirements together with relevant Authority regulations into area needs and functionalities, layout solutions with optimized production and workflow, good work environments with focus on safety and Human Factor Design including aesthetic and sustainable architectural design.
You enjoy being part of an exciting and dynamic workplace and flourish through co-creation and interaction with colleagues of all disciplines, customers and stakeholders.

You will be joining a dedicated team of professional and engaged architects and constructing architects.
Process Architecture is one out of five departments in Life Science & Pharma providing specialised consultancy and integrated design solutions to the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnical Industries. The other five departments are; Process Engineering, Laboratories & Mechanical Services, Electrical & BMS, Structures & ICT.

Your role and responsibility as an Architect or Constructing Architect in Process Architecture
As an architect or constructing architect working in Process Architecture you will typically take the project position as Lead Architect or Specialized designer within planning and design of production facilities also including cleanrooms, containment, and advanced laboratories.
Depending on your key competencies and preferred area of specialities you could as an example have the following project related roles and responsibilities:
- Process Architect holding the architectural lead position during especially the initial project phases covering: Programming, Conceptual and Basic Design being responsible for conceptual design studies and design development including flow analysis, functional layouts , volume studies and overall building design
- Architect in Command holding the position as Lead Architect throughout all project phases responsible for the architectural design deliveries, interdisciplinary design coordination and co-creation with stakeholders also covering user involvement processes
- Specialized Designer within cleanrooms, advanced laboratories including containment and complex industrial facilities responsible for architectural detailed design and participation in integrated design development making use of 3D Revit modelling - from Basic Design to Detailed Design and specialised supervision during construction
You and your competencies
You are trained as an architect, constructing architect or similar - preferably with some years of experience working with Industrial Facility programming, planning and design e.g. to the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnological Industry, Food industry or within the sectors of Healthcare and Education.
You have a strong client focus and interest in understanding the objectives and needs of the customer. - Master planning and overall conceptual design development for production sites and facilities
- Design of cleanrooms including GMP, room classification planning and work flow analysis
- Design of laboratories including GLP and GMO knowledge, programming of advanced laboratory facilities
- Design of containment facilities including GAP analysis and risk assessment connected to Bio- and/or chemical safety and security
- Supervision and follow up activities during construction
- General programming including facilitation of Co-creation and user involvement processes
- Client Consultancy within Life Science & Pharma, Healthcare and the Educational sector
- Sustainability from strategy to design
