This role oversees the definition and choices of security capabilities and their solutions for the whole of the Security Platform. Ensures that chosen capabilities meet the needs of Business Platforms, achieve the necessary organizational cyber security posture, align with Enterprise Architectural principles, and are optimized for value and efficiency. Leads a team of dedicated technical cyber security SMEs in engagement with the various Business Platforms, to create points of contact for the Business Platforms into the security organization, a method by which to gather security requirements for business success, and a prioritized list of required capabilities which will be solutioned.
In this role you will be exposed to a wide and challenging range of business issues through regular engagement with stakeholders across all management levels and functions within Maersk. You will work and communicate with fellow leaders across geographical and cultural borders to build a strong professional network. ·Lead, develop, and optimally deploy a team of diverse and geographically disbursed cyber security solution architects.
·Interact with Platform Engineering and Application Development teams, to:
o provide leadership and drive alignment on security requirements,
o influence decision makers, build relationships, and communicate strategy and architecture to the broader internal community
·Influence and work collaboratively to guide Developers, Engineers, and Architects, to ultimately deliver security solutions that optimize outcomes for Maersk
·Act as a bridge between Enterprise Architecture (strategy/principles) and the Security Platform, specifically into the Release Trains delivering platform-wide solutions
·Drive capability solution choices that optimize overall value and security posture based on business need, enterprise-wide usability, and cost
·Work with Release Trains to ensure maximum synergy in the development of solutions across teams.
·Provide a detailed understanding of cloud security and cloud infrastructure services, threat landscape, attack scenarios, risks, and associated options for effective cyber security solutions
·Develop an overall Solutions Roadmap to guide Release Train delivery and the prioritization of backlogs.
·Work with multiple solution design options, and recommend the most appropriate solution considering business priorities, technical feasibility, return on investment and delivery timelines
·Participate in work estimation, scope definition, and delivery planning activities

•Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or 5+ years relevant work experience
•Ability to inspire, lead, manage, and develop a team of highly skilled, technical cyber security specialists
•In-depth knowledge of cyber security domains, security engineering, and challenges in platform development
•Strong understanding of technology and applications across a range of different technology stacks
•Solid understand of the relationships between business strategy, digital transformation strategy and cyber security posture
Key Measures:
•Run/Maintenance costs
•Talent acquisition/retention
•Adherence to enterprise-wide architecture guardrails
•Delivery of KPIs related to the architectural principles
•Reduction of Security Backlog related to Platform needs
•Accuracy of development prediction
