For our client, FLSmidth we are looking for a Network Architect, who wishes to make an impact in a global company,

We need your skills, curiosity and drive for change to fulfil the goal. You will take part in enabling the customers to produce the materials needed for a better future.
As a Network Architect, you will be responsible for technical advisory, building solutions, guiding your global colleagues in FLSmidth on how to work smarter and more efficiently use of the strategic cloud platforms with focus on how to connect.
Reporting to the Head of Cloud Center of Excellence, you will join a team of +15 dedicated colleagues working within areas such as Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Governance, Datacenter & migration- services, Global Network connectivity services, Hybrid Cloud Automation & Security.

Your responsibilities
- Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization to define strategies, points of view, roadmaps, workflows, reference architectures, and other deliverables to support technology selection, implementation, integration, and management
- Responsible for architecting solutions for each of the functional areas within their respective domain(s) or business horizontal(s)
- Responsible for understanding dependencies between technology platforms and product(s) required to deliver a specified business solution
- Collaborate with partners inside and outside IT and across business communities in assessing technology requirements and identifying potential technology solutions, always assessing existing technology investments as a first step
- Participate in cross-functional teams for developing and implementing new processes, standards and high level requirements. Work in conjunction with applications, security, legal, compliance, operations, engineering and other areas as necessary
- Design, develop, modify and adapt short and long-term solutions to information technology assessing new and existing applications and systems architecture
What you bring
- You probably have a Masters or bachelor's Degree in IT field, or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of experience in the networking field
- Preferred experience in network design architecture acting as solution architect
- Cloud network experience is a must
- Familiarity with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and architecture modeling tools
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Agile experience preferred (at scale)
- Network certifications is a plus
