SITE Supervisor – BUILDINGS

MAIN TASKS:

Supervision of Subcontractors during the erecting phase of construction halls and other buildings. Organizes and coordinates the activity of the Supervisor Buildings in order to ensure that the Works are executed in due time and in accordance with health, safety and environmental regulations and the approved documents.

Additionally, substitutes the Site Engineer Buildings.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS:

• Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
• Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
• Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
• Plan the work and efficiently organise the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site and providing feedback to the team
• Prepare daily / weekly / monthly forecasts and reports as required
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members
• Keep track of material stock and orders

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role
• Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
• In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
• Fluent in English and spoken as well as written
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to lead and inspire

• Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written at all organizational levels
