About the department
Anchored in Novo Nordisk Manufacturing IT in Bagsværd, you will be part of an environment of in-depth knowledge of the IT processes, technology, data and business drivers. We are 20 experienced employees with a high level of professionalism, flexibility and an open, trust-based and creative working environment with high quality mind-set.
The position
As a MES Analyst you will play a key role as in our projects of PAS-X, our MES system, on a global basis. Our overall aim is to improve the efficiency of all manufacturing-related processes globally. You will become the subject matter expert of PAS-X, and your job is to develop and maintain a standardised framework for the roll-out of PAS-X across various Novo Nordisk sites. In every project you ensure that global system is designed, developed and implemented with the aim to realise business benefits. In each project you cooperate with the line of business on site regarding aspects such as gap analysis, designing business processes, configuration, documentation and validation of processes as well as training before the data conversion and go-live activities.
It is also your responsibility to prepare training material and train the super users. In all your work, you will align the solutions and facilitate sharing of best practice, knowledge and visions between the sites. You will work in a dynamic project-oriented environment where you can expect some weeks of travel activity to our sites in mainly China, France and USA.
The position requires the ability to take independent decisions based on business requirements and business strategy. All parts of the organisation must be taken into consideration in the decision making since the position influences the quality level of NNs batch documentation system used in most parts of PS. As such, this position is operating on a high managerial level across PS and it is an exciting opportunity to work with many stakeholders both internally and externally.
More specifically, some of your main tasks will be to write validation test protocols and reports for projects and patch upgrades as well as participating in and/or review test execution to ensure the right quality level.
Qualifications
We expect you to have a Bachelor or preferably a Master’s Degree within a relevant discipline e.g. business, economics, pharmacist or equivalent. You have been working in a similar position for at least 3 years in the Pharma industry with good results. On top of this, you have in general good practice within MES, IT & Automation and you are used to work with GxP validation of IT systems in a regulated production environment.
It is an advantage if you have solid knowledge on PAS-X or another comparable MES system and preferable experience with PCS integration. To succeed in this job you must be able to bridge your technical MES knowledge with local business requirements to identify and collect data, make a structured analysis and develop excellent standardised and integrated IT solutions in PAS-X.
On a personal level this position requires strong commitment and ability to take decisions, often in a consensus driven and also a political environment. Furthermore, it requires the ability to work self-motivated, structured and targeted with a high degree of flexibility. You use your empathy and excellent general IT apprehension to change complex technical challenges and demands into workable solutions. Hence, you need good communication skills that enable you to discuss complicated IT matters with non IT colleagues in written and spoken English.
