Job Description
Danfoss Industrial Automation is looking for a Senior Process Engineer with production background to join the department of Process Technology. You will be working in a multicultural environment with highly qualified colleagues from all over the world.
As Project Manager, you will, independently, handle a lot of different smaller and larger projects, such as being the supply chain core team representative in product development projects. You will provide input, support and coaching for stakeholders and systematically spread best practice using Lean and the Six Sigma approach along with other quality and improvement tools. You will be responsible for supply chain project milestone deliverables and provide documentation to our quality management system (IATF16949). You will be part of a small team based in Nordborg, and you will report to the Process Technology Director.
Your tasks will also be:
As of today, the position entails approx. 20 travelling days/year, but it might increase depending on the person hired and the future sharing of tasks in the team.
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering and at least three years’ working experience, preferably, from mechatronic high-volume production. You have IATF16949 knowledge and are also experienced in equipment specification and software tools for statistic handling e.g. MiniTab.
Your success will depend on your ability and fortitude to challenge current state by bringing all your skills from high-volume manufacturing into play and always aiming for quality and the best solutions.

- Specification, test and validation of production equipment and systems
- Implementation of new production equipment
- Handover to production
- Variable cost calculations
- Contribute to the digital transformation of our supply chain

- Are highly skilled in test, validation and documentation of production equipment
- Are an effective communicator and consensus builder across key stakeholders
- Have strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
- Understand lean and related areas (Six sigma, TPM, TPS)
- Are fluent in written and spoken English. Basic knowledge of Danish is an advantage
