Job Description
Danfoss Editron is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who will play a central role in designing, implementing and maturing the manufacturing setup for our new factory. This role is a unique opportunity to set your mark and utilize your skills and knowledge to support sustainable mass production of pioneering electrification technology. We are assembling a highly skilled and dynamic team to setup and run a world class factory for electrification products in Nordborg. Here, we will be producing new electrification products for a major manufacturer of large vehicles that represents a very important future business for Danfoss. Danfoss Editron develops and manufactures hybrid and electric powertrain systems for the marine, on- and off-highway, and renewables markets based on the unique synchronous reluctance assisted permanent magnet (SRPM) technology. As Manufacturing Engineer, you will enable our products and solutions to be manufactured to defined standards and cost thereby ensuring competitive operation processes which serve our customer’s needs, You will be expected to demonstrate a mindset fixed on continuous improvement as well as using relevant engineering methodologies to implement control measures and improvements.

Skills and background
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 3-6 years of experience within the field of production, process, or equipment engineering and with assembly/testing processes - preferably gained from a global company within the electronics industry focused on high technology. We expect you to hold an engineering degree within electronics, mechatronics or production.

- Designing and managing the production line layout in order to enable an efficient and reliable manufacture setup
- Developing the assembly/testing and manufacturing process
- Responding quickly to issues affecting the production line and utilizing a systematic problem-solving approach to maintain a smooth production flow
- Reviewing design, performing tests and providing feedback to R&D regarding Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
Skills and background
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 3-6 years of experience within the field of production, process, or equipment engineering and with assembly/testing processes - preferably gained from a global company within the electronics industry focused on high technology. We expect you to hold an engineering degree within electronics, mechatronics or production.
Moreover, the successful candidate will have:
- A structured way of working and analytical capacity
- The ability to cope in a fast-paced and changing environment with a large range of responsibilities and the ability to provide good quality and timely results under pressure
- A flexible and dynamic approach along with a hands-on mentality and you should be driven by Innovation
- Good communication skills enabling you to motivate the team towards improvements and driving change
- Fluency in English - written and spoken
- Experience in IATF 16949 is an advantage
