Converters & Controls Converter & NPI Factory Hammel Production Quality
Vestas Manufacturing A/S is an independent business unit in Vestas Wind Systems A/S.
A part of Vestas Manufacturing is Vestas Converter & NPI Factory. Converter is responsible for the global production of Converters and Electronic modules, and has factories in Europe, Asia.
Located in Hammel, we have the Vestas Converter & NPI Factory, where we develop, produce and mature our new Converter and Electronic types before we transfer the new technologies to internal and external factories around the globe.
The Quality department is an important part of NPI organisation, primarily working directly with the production areas, supporting with quality solutions for test lines and new product introduction.

The primary work location is Hammel, Denmark, and requires up to 10% of travel per year.

The Quality department is an important part of NPI organisation, primarily working directly with the production areas, supporting with quality solutions for test lines and new product introduction.
Responsibilities
- Ensure measurements are done with reliable tools and processes
- Develop and implement Q-safe launch
- Coordinate and collect all the documents in the PPAP file and have it ready for internal or external (customer) audits
- Interact with Product and Process Quality to monitor the readiness of the capability studies
- Timely report to management any discrepancy in order to set the necessary corrective action
- Maintain and improve QDA
- Reporting the quality status to quality manager
Qualifications
- You will have achieved a formal education in Engineering
- With a minimum of 3 - 5 years of work experience you will be well versed in quality management, preferably from international production
- You will have a very good understanding of quality tools
- You are skilled with product verification/validation
- You will have auditor experience complemented with change management skills
Competencies
- You can communicate clearly and concisely, both spoken and written, in English, with additional professional It would be an advantage if you can write and read Danish
- You are persistent, determined and investigative in your work and are tenacious by nature
- You have good IT-skills and are an experienced user of Microsoft Office suite. It is an advantage if you know the statistics program Minitab
- You can work in a fast-changing environment where there are high expectations to personal objectives
- You have high level analytical and statistical skills that you can transform to practice
- You have experience with the principals of PFMEA; SPC; MSA and control plans & experienced in Lean Tools
- Master toolbox e.g. CTQ; PFMEA; 8D with a strong background in Quality Management
