About the project
The Capital Region of Denmark’s Centre for Real Estate is building New Hospital Bispebjerg. It is financed by 2.95 billion DKK from Kvalitetsfonden (PL 2009). New Hospital Bispebjerg consists of several separate projects, of which the Main Hospital Building, of approx. 76,000 m2, is the largest. The hospital is expected to be finished in 2026.
The Capital Region of Denmark is currently investing 20 billion DKK in hospital construction, of which 9 billion DKK comes from The State’s Kvalitetsfond. The projects will create contemporary and functional frameworks for the best possible treatment, with focus on the patients.

The salary and conditions for the employment will be according to current trade agreements, with the possibility for negotiating supplements for qualifications.
The workplace is located at Bispebjerg Hospital, Bispebjerg Bakke, 2400 Copenhagen NV.
Working hours are 37 hours per week

Core responsibilities
The Capital Region’s role as the Employer in the Design and Build Contract is to ensure that the works are progressing as per the requirements and the agreed time schedule.
The Site supervisor will support the Project Management Team with the following tasks:
- Undertake day-to-day construction/MEP spot checks, monitoring and inspections of the Contractor’s Works on site within the framework of contract requirements and contractor’s quality, environmental and health and safety plans
- Identify and report quality, environmental and health and safety control issues within the framework of contract requirements and contractor’s quality environmental and health and safety plans (e.g., observations, supervisions, NCRs, etc.)
- Monitoring and reporting progress of the works on site against time schedule
- Support collation of project records for works as diaries, photographs and inspection reports as well as carrying out administrative work such as preparing minutes, memos, and reports
- Assist in the review of contractor’s construction documentation (e.g., method statements, inspection & testing protocols, material approvals, etc.), and quality plans (e.g., quality management plan, construction management plan, etc.)
- Review work schedules with the contractor to enable coordination and collaboration
- Attend regular meetings with the contractor to support with the planning and coordination of the Employer’s activities
- Coordination of the Employer team’s attendance on site activities (inspections, SATs, witnessing, etc.) as well as coordination with the hospital stakeholders, e.g., other construction projects in the campus, hospital departments & staff, facility management and logistics, etc.
About you
We are looking for a Site Supervisor for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health). We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:
- A degree in mechanical, electrical, public health (or other related) engineering
- 4 - 8 years of experience in construction and built environment (working for a client, contractor, or consultancy)
- At least 3 years of site supervision experience in complex building (hospital, pharmaceutical, airport terminal, etc.) projects
- Good level of English, the role requires reading/writing technical reports in English and the verbal communication will be in English.
- Collaboration and communication skills in an international project environment
- Experience with medical/pharmaceutical/laboratory equipment is a plus
- Experience with BMS systems is a plus
- Knowledge in Primavera P6 is a plus
- Apprenticeship (minimum 3 years) in a technical / building services trade is a plus
- Site based construction experience in northern Europe is a plus
