Cimbria has a clear goal of providing outstanding customer experiences, based on high-tech solutions. Following the AGCO acquisition in 2016, Cimbria is undergoing a transformation, and there is a strategic focus on developing the engineering department. On that basis, we are looking for an employee for design and documentation of steel and silo structures.
Design, sales support and optimization
As a structural engineer, you will be part of a highly skilled team, which holds the overall responsibility for designing square silos, based on principles of knowledge, experience and the guidelines in the relevant European standards. Your primary tasks will be:
Business acumen and great communication skills
You hold a master’s degree in construction engineering, and we expect you to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with calculation of steel structures or similar structures. You are an experienced CAD user, and you are well-founded in the Eurocode series (199x-series).
To succeed in this role, it is important that you possess business acumen, enabling you to gain knowledge and understanding of Cimbria/AGCO’s business. Furthermore, you need great communication skills in both Danish and English to interact with stakeholders and build strong relations – and on that basis gain the trust needed to ensure the highest level of technical problem solving.
You know the importance of strengthening your colleagues and customers through a pragmatic approach, ensuring high quality without creating an over-engineering culture. In addition to this, you are known for your loyal and open approach, your overview and your ability to face problems up front.

Design, sales support and optimization
As a structural engineer, you will be part of a highly skilled team, which holds the overall responsibility for designing square silos, based on principles of knowledge, experience and the guidelines in the relevant European standards. Your primary tasks will be:
- Design, calculation and modelling of silos, silo components and steel structures according to the Eurocode series
- Ensuring that production-drawings for internal and external production sites are completed
- Support to sales department: Handle technical inquiries and take part in a close, ongoing dialogue with sales, project managers and production regarding technical issues/changes, price, etc.
- Contribute to technical solutions in collaboration with our Solutions Delivery Team
- Support and review on products promised to customer
- Maintain standard products/make sure that they are up to date and requirements, and optimize standard silo components such as walls, hoppers and decks
