Train driver freight transport

The company is very interested in finding long-term-employed members of staff, who are motivated and happy to work in Germany. Different work schedules will assist in finding the right working environment for each individual employee.

Your tasks:

· Preparation and completion services on our traction units

· Wagon and train checks

· Safe and punctual execution of train rides and shunting

· Carrying out brake tests and train preparation work

· Securing trains

· Knowing and applying the relevant rules and policies

· Recognizing and taking up tasks in the event of malfunctions, irregularities and other deviations from normal operation.

Train driver with a valid train drivers license (EU)

Professional experience and knowledge of locomotives are desirable – but we are also happy to welcome young and new colleagues from the passenger sector.

· Proven unrestricted operational fitness according to the „TfV“

· German language skills: minimum B1. English desirable.

· Willingness for shift work, night, week-end and bank holiday work

· Willingness for further education

· Professional experience and knowledge of locomotives are desirable – but we are also happy to welcome young and new colleagues from the passenger sector

· Independent and full of initiative

Lön/Salary:

Preparational training before becoming a train driver in our company. During this training, you will get a monthly gross salary of 2.500 Euro. Duration of training is according to your individual requirements

After the training, you will be paid according to a pay scale classification. Example: pay scale group 0 (driving license just received) starts at 15,23 Euro/hour, pay scale group 15 (driver´s license since 15 years) pays 21,- Euro/hour.

Above-average remuneration due to a generous system of surcharges and meal expenditures, as well as attractive payment for overtime work
