Oracle Database Administrator

If you are skilled Database Administrator with solid experience with Oracle DB server operations who can handle design and installation of Oracle systems as well as the operational tasks, we are looking for you.

About the position

Your role will be to manage and maintain Oracle Database systems of our customers. You will be responsible for design and installation, maintenance, and occasional patching of systems. Oracle Database Services is a team of 10 and all your colleagues are based in Denmark.

• Design and installation of Oracle DB systems
• Upgrading, migrating, and consolidating of Oracle DB systems
• Performance tuning
• Backup and recovery configuration and testing
• Cloning
• Trouble shooting
• Deployments and patching
• Act as technical advisor to customers regarding Oracle databases

About you

• Solid experience as Database Administrator on Oracle DBs
• Experience with Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems and scripting
• Fluent English, both spoken and written
• It is your advantage if you have experience with one of the following:
  • Nagios - automate
  • Ansible playbooks - automate
  • Zabbix – monitoring
  
  

You may expect to travel to our offices in Denmark and to work outside of the business hours from time to time.
