Do you want to play an important part of creating analytics in Novo Nordisk? If you are an experienced Data Analyst or Data Scientist, you might be our new colleague to contribute to a variety of exciting use cases in Novo Nordisk?

About the department

Our ambition is to be in the frontier of Supply Chain Data Analytics by employing machine learning models and various supply chain modelling techniques to enhance data driven decisions and optimise our global supply chain. We transform data into business insight and recommendations. Further, we are responsible for reporting on the Global Supply Chain that are delivering life-changing medicines to more than 29 million patients in 170 different countries.

You will join a team consisting of 15 colleagues from eight different countries. You will be working together with our Supply Chain Consultants that have a strong Supply Chain understanding and can model it with data, Data Scientists that converts data into models & predictions and Data Engineers that structure - and make data available.

The position

You will support our journey in advanced analytics by employing your data & modelling skills and analytic mind to deliver on impactful use cases. You will analyse and cleanse large datasets with the goal to convert data into the right decisions. You will be involved from ideation, development and deployment of models across the global supply chain. You will be working on specific use cases in sprint style as well as various ad-hoc data-related tasks.

Qualifications

You have 3-5 years of relevant working experience combined with a master’s in e.g. Economics, Finance, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering or similar with excellent results and a natural flair for data.

  • Proven passion for generating insights from data to enable insight driven decisions
  • Comfort manipulating and analysing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources
  • Strong knowledge of statistical methods and experience with machine learning
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable way
  • Experience with analytical and visualisation tools such as Qlik, Tableau or Alteryx
  • Fluency with at least one analysis tool such as R, Python or MATLAB and the ability to transfer that knowledge to other tools
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL

You have an entrepreneurial mindset and have flair for testing new techniques, software and ways of working. We expect you will be good at what you do and have an eye for details. You have a burning desire to learn new things and are curious about the processes and people you work with. You can work both independently and together with others.
