About the job
As Senior Safety System Expert & Data Analyst your overall responsibility is to build and maintain reports including ad-hoc reporting and data extractions as needed in Global Safety using e.g. Business Objects, Power BI, Safety DB tools and SQL. Support on daily trouble shooting, problem solving, incident reporting and identification of improvement initiatives. You will be in close collaboration with line of business and IT to ensure optimal use and documentation of the systems.
In addition, you will participate in various business projects in which your role will be to provide subject matter expert input within own area of expertise regarding regulatory requirements, business processes and requirements to IT systems. You will be performing informal and formal testing, updating standard operating procedures and participate in implementation and end-user training as needed.
About you
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to focus on details, adherence to standards and keeping the overview of several tasks in parallel without compromising the quality of your work. The capability to understand and connect regulatory requirements, line of business processes and functionality of IT systems is essential.
Importantly, you are well-organized, have a structured approach to tasks, show commitment, initiative and flexibility and have a good sense of humor. You are self-driven and ambitious, a great collaborator and you never lose focus despite changing demands or ambitious deadlines.
You have:
- Relevant bachelor or master’s degree in Life Sciences - alternatively Computer Science or Engineering
- + 5 years’ experience from the pharmaceutical industry, preferable from Pharmacovigilance
- Strong command of English, written and spoken
- Experience working with Data extraction and Business Intelligence tools and RPA
- Strong knowledge within system testing, SQL, IT systems and impact assessment

As Senior Safety System Expert & Data Analyst you will join a team of 3 highly talented and ambitious colleagues supporting all IT systems and tools used in Global Safety. We work across departments in Global Safety and liaise with external stakeholders while operating in a dynamic environment reflecting the increasing demands from clinical trials and regulatory authority requirements.
