As our Data Engineer, you will be part of an excellent team of 5 Data Engineers following Scrum framework, working on a prioritized backlog while demonstrating Microsoft Azure Data capabilities e.g.: Azure SQL, Integration Runtime, Data Factory, DataBricks.
Our Data Engineers have the opportunity to support the planning and implementation of data flow design, providing sizing and configuration assistance and also working with the Solution Architects on program for transformations and modernizations of data solutions using Azure cloud data technologies. We work together and grow together!
You will also have the autonomy to design and build Azure Data Pipelines and Data Streams, working with Azure Event Hub for retrieving and streaming data.

Our Data Angineers typically join us with prior success with designing data processing pipelines using multiple data streams from Kafka Confluent/ Azure Event Hub, and the ability to conduct data profiling, cataloguing, and mapping for technical design and construction of technical data flows.
Your experience in data modelling and analysis using TSQL will bring a new expertese to our team.
Technology wise, it is largley expected that you have:
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL is MUST
• Knowledge of DevOps processes (including CI/CD) and Infrastructure as code fundamentals using Terraform or ARM
• Working experience with Visual Studio, PowerShell Scripting, and ARM templates
• Experience with Git/DevOps/VSTS is a requirement
But, all-in-all you are at your happpiest working in a large program and distributed organization, you a strong in collaboration, you have great team ethics and your positive attitude for continuous improvement and learning new technologies makes you a passionate technologist!
