In general, your typical work day as a Data Engineer involves:
- Developing, deploying and maintaining data pipelines for sales, pricing and analytics;
- Working with Business Intelligence to better understand their data needs;
- Actively managing and developing our IT infrastructure;
- Making sure our data solutions are stable, scalable and secure
- Assisting with Database development and design.
Being a Data Engineer requires:
- Mid to high proficiency with Python;
- Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries;
- An intense intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to share knowledge with others;
An ideal candidate:
- Has strong knowledge of statistics and experimental design
- An interest to work on Data Analysis / ML projects;
- Must be fluent and eloquent in English.
