About this opportunity
Welcome to LC&I COO Data Services in the Data Governance team. We add value by securing clear and transparent accountability and responsibility for our data - first and foremost to ensure the data and its quality meet the consumers need. You will play a valuable role in identify, define and diagnose data issues and support Data Owners in best practices around data quality management and operational implementation of data governance.
What you’ll be doing:
- You will work closely together with Data Owners and Data Experts in order to bring their data assets under governance. You will assist with different levels of data governance support ranging from doing the practical implementation of data governance to guide and communicate our data governance framework.
- You will drive the data decision processes to improve the overall data quality of the data. This includes establishment of data quality controls and implementation of data quality measurements, but also to keep track and progress of the data quality issues within LC&I.
- You will build and maintain an overview of our data landscape and support the creation of a Nordea Business Glossary, where you together with Data Experts in business will build the language around data.
- You will act as a Project Manager of various data governance initiatives, but also influence and advise new data projects in our new way of working with data.
- You will be responsible for measuring the effectiveness and impact of the data governance implementation, which includes monthly data quality reporting.
The role is based in Copenhagen.

- You have good analytics skills and a structured and methodical approach to tasks.
- You have the ability to take both a high-level view and to pay attention to details.
- You have good English skills, both written and orally.
Your experience and background:
- You have a master’s degree in finance, engineering, IT or similar.
- You have a minimum of 5 of years experience with data preferably in the Financial Sector or have experience within Information Architecture.
- You have an understanding of regulatory requirements and the influence they have on how we need to work with data
- Preferably, you have operational data management experience
