We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data and image processing scientist.

Minerva Imaging’s vision is to become the leading contract research and contract development organization for targeted radionuclide therapy and imaging, enabling improved treatment regimens for cancer patients. Our focus is on the use of advanced animal models within oncology and cardiovascular diseases and in vivo molecular imaging for translational research and drug development.
We aim to excel in delivering customized cancer radiopharmaceutical research and serve as an extended research team to our collaborators. We have built a global leading R&D platform for targeted radionuclide therapy and Contract Development and Manufacturing (CDMO) to enable integrated planning and faster execution of promising new radionuclide theragnostic projects in close collaboration with leading researchers, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies.
Minerva is at the forefront of R&D in the theragnostic area. We are in a very fast-paced environment, where our scientists directly impact the advancement of new improved, and lifesaving drugs for seriously ill cancer patients. Our plans for the new Data and Image processing scientist
As a Data Scientist / Image Processing Scientist, you will play a crucial role in our organization, responsible for study-related data analysis, automating data workflows, and assisting with image analysis. Your expertise will contribute to the development of innovative analysis methods for quantifying results in oncological studies, cardiovascular imaging and other modalities. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of scientists and researchers, collaborating on groundbreaking projects and making a significant impact in preclinical research.

As a Data Scientist / Image Processing Scientist, you will play a crucial role in our organization, responsible for study-related data analysis, automating data workflows, and assisting with image analysis. Your expertise will contribute to the development of innovative analysis methods for quantifying results in oncological studies, cardiovascular imaging and other modalities. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of scientists and researchers, collaborating on groundbreaking projects and making a significant impact in preclinical research.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis for preclinical imaging studies, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement automated data workflows, improving efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in the analysis of medical images, including MRI, PET, and SPECT scans, utilizing advanced image processing techniques.
- Develop and validate analysis methods for quantifying results in cardiac imaging and other areas of interest.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical imaging, data analysis, and image processing, incorporating new methodologies into projects as appropriate.
- Ensure proper operation of the in-house image PACS
- Maintain and establish data storage solutions
Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, image processing, and algorithm development, preferably in the medical imaging domain.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or R, preferably with experience in machine learning frameworks and databases.
- Knowledge of medical imaging modalities, including MRI, PET, and SPECT, and understanding of the challenges involved in image quantification.
- Familiarity with medical imaging software packages and DICOM standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- English is required and Danish is an advantage.
