About the position

As the Project Vice President (PVP) for Connected Drug Device Solutions you will be leading a Global Project Team and manage the strategically and globally important connectivity solutions development projects which has critical business impact for and across all of Novo Nordisk. You will be accountable to the relevant governance body for one or more projects, with a shared responsibility for leading and managing the global device development process and meeting goals, budgets and objectives. It is also your responsibility to shape the strategy and recommend strategic development options to relevant Governance Boards as well as driving the development tracks in terms of our external partnerships. Further, it is your responsibility to support individual project team members to ensure high performance and future potential through providing coaching and development opportunities.

You will report to the Senior Vice President for Devices and Delivery Solutions and be a part of the Devices and Delivery Solutions management team. You are expected to be an active member in the senior management team activities including strategic discussions and leadership development activities – and not least, you are expected to role-model the Novo Nordisk Way.

Qualifications

Your background is a relevant technical degree within computer science, engineering or a related field combined with +8 years of experience working with strategic project management preferably from the pharmaceutical or MedTech industry, or from a related regulated industry. We expect you to have experience with driving electrical- and software development within digital- and connected solutions including insights into product LCM processes, and a documented track record of bringing new products or patient facing solutions to the market.

You are an experienced project manager with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously. You are execution-oriented and balance this with the delegation of relevant tasks and areas of responsibility to the project team and relevant parties in the organisation. Relying on your strong communication and presentation skills you can create clarity and set direction at all organisational levels and your strong collaboration skills enables you to work in cross functional teams. You have high motivational skills, including the ability to engage and empower the people in your team and across the organisation.

About the Department

As PVP, Connected Drug Device Solutions you will be a part of our Devices and Delivery Solutions area where we design and develop delivery systems for our treatments to ensure correct dosing and convenience for the patient. Our devices are developed in close collaboration between patients and the scientific discovery and clinical development teams at Novo Nordisk. This ensures that the developed devices are safe and easy for the patients to use while being compatible with the drug products taken into development. You will join a dynamic, international and very innovative environment, where highly skilled professionals work closely together to develop next generation medical devices.
