The Storage & Energy Solutions team is composed to have the ability run a full development cycle ourselves – from ideation to implementation. Your new colleagues span across business developers, software- and hardware developers (from electronics- to electrical engineers) and our approach is based on a fail-fast approach where the creation of Minimum Viable Products is our methodology. Our route-to-market is simple:
1. We analyse performance and operational data, Energy Markets, power prices, weather data and combine the results and much more with insights from adjacent business areas in our hunt for product offerings, new business opportunities or business models
2. We develop and deploy the needed hardware solutions to unleash the product functionality. Hardware platforms range from Raspberry Pi’ and embedded controllers, PLC’s to High Voltage Power Conversion Systems.
3. We implement product features, functions and systems interactions through software applications right from PLC-based code to Web-based systems or IOS/Android apps, following a largely microservice based architecture.
4. We operate and monitor our deployed products to optimise our products and support our customers
Responsibilities
You value the agile approach and target small fast sprints focusing on removing key uncertainties with smallest amount of effort, keeping a focus on our goal and stop activities which does not lead to our common objective.

Responsibilities
- Electrical design of power electronics solutions (DC-DC and DC-AC) for energy storage system applications and renewable energy solutions in general
- Develop requirement specifications for various power electronics solutions and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Be innovative and generate new ideas and concepts for power electronics and electrical systems within the renewable energy solutions area
- Support control design and mechanical design of power electronics solutions
- Support in developing the roadmap of power electronics and electrical solutions for energy storage systems and renewable energy solutions in general
- Perform design reviews, D-FMEA, risk and failure analysis

Qualifications
- B.Sc./M.Sc./PhD in Power Electronics Engineering
- Experience within power electronics design including electrical and control for DC-AC and DC-DC converter applications
- Experience with modeling and simulation tools like PLECS, Spice, MATLAB, Simulink and other specialised tools
- Experience with grid connection of converters and compliance assessment regarding connection codes
- Experience with laboratory, field test and commissioning work
- Familiar with designing of LV electrical systems, that includes design of electrical panels with protection, busbars/cables, control circuits, etc.
- Familiar with standards as DS/EN60204-1, DS/EN 61439-1, DS/EN 62061-1, DS/EN61508
- Familiar with simulation tools such as PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, etc.
