Radiometer is a worldwide leader in the Transcutaneous (TC) business. To keep this leading position, Radiometer develops our TC system and applications to meet customer needs. Radiometer has a long tradition of building in house expertize and core knowledge about our complex and important medical devices.
That is why we are looking for someone like you - a specialist, who knows what it takes to design and develop electronic systems, and is motivated to work in an interdisciplinary team. In this job, you can expect to work with the development of embedded electronic systems and assist with design of sensors. You join a team consisting of diverse backgrounds related to chemistry, electronics, mechanics, and software engineers.
Develop improved Sensor Calibration
You may be modelling the system in Matlab and analyze complex data to find root causes or to ensure the optimal performance of e.g. our sensor calibration function. Furthermore, you can expect to be involved in development projects that ensures the future of our TC product development. Depending on your potential and the future of our technology development, you can look forward to work with the following:
• Systems modeling with Matlab, PSpice and COMSOL
• Work with embedded electronic systems. Analogue, digital and FPGA (Altera)
• Use LabView for test systems
• Work with dataprocessing and algorithms
• Design optical measurement modules and test systems

Qualifications
We believe that you have a background as Electronics Engineer or similar that makes you capable of programming embedded software. This combined with the following increases your chances of success in the job:
• 5+ years from an R&D department working with lower level Software in complex systems
• Physics or electronics background preferably with a PhD.
• Experience with medical devices / IVD or similar
• Experience with MatLab or COMSOL
• Willingness to work with documentation and Design Control
• Understanding of optical sensors or nanotechnology is an advantage
