Power Solutions Industrialisation Turbine Validation
The Prototype and Performance testing department is responsible for field-testing of Vestas turbines and technologies. As a part of Vestas Power Solutions, you will work with test and validation and development of the most advanced technologies using the newest methods.
You will work closely with one Noise Specialist and a lot of other test Specialists within a broad range of areas.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to plan, execute and report on noise testing as well as developing the noise platform. The right candidate understands the acoustical impact on the wind turbine from mechanical, electrical and aerodynamic components, and can measure and report these effects.

- Plan and execute noise measurements in the field
- Data analysis, reporting of wind turbine noise
- Present results and advise design owners on acoustical performance
- Development of the noise analysis platform
- Handling contracts for external test institutes
Qualifications
- A master or bachelor's degree e.g. in wind energy, electronics or mechanical engineering, combined with an acoustical background - preferably combined with experience with noise or acoustical measurements and analysis.
- Programming skills in Matlab
- Experience with field measurements
- Experience with transfer path analysis and structural dynamics in general
- Familiar with IEC 61400-11
- Fluent in English
- Driver’s license

- Great communication skills, so you can communicate technical information to no technical people
