Your position
As our new Electrical Engineer, you will join a team of highly specialised and motivated employees located in our technical High Voltage team in the Renewables business area. We are the world leading supplier of engineering solutions for offshore substations. Our Offshore Wind markets include Europe, Asia, and the USA, which means that you can expect to be involved in projects worldwide.

Your tasks & responsibilities
You will work with the importance of securing the safety and security of offshore substations, here you will have a wide variety of tasks.
The job will involve limited travelling to other Semco Maritime offices, sub-suppliers, and customers. The job will also require test and commissioning activities at construction site and offshore.

Your tasks & responsibilities
You will work with the importance of securing the safety and security of offshore substations, here you will have a wide variety of tasks.
The job will involve limited travelling to other Semco Maritime offices, sub-suppliers, and customers. The job will also require test and commissioning activities at construction site and offshore.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Design, construction, testing and commissioning of FAS according to international standards and internal procedures
- Interface management with the surrounding disciplines such as Fire & Safety, 3D layout, low-voltage, HVAC, FES and OTS
- Providing as-built documentation
- Tendering for projects on the global market
- OTS for FAS package based on IEC 62443/NERC CIP
Your profile & qualifications
As a person you are trustworthy and reliable, you are known as someone who delivers on their work and provides great results. You enjoy teamwork but you also have the ability to work confidently on your own.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering or similar
- Experience with Fire Alarm systems
- Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English
- Prior experience from the offshore wind industry is an advantage but not a requirement
- Offshore certificates or the ability to acquire them
