Power Conversion PEX Test Test engineering & Support
Test Engineering is responsible for the development of production test systems for Vestas. The department develops test systems for all aspects of the turbine for example electrical switchboards, converters, generators, nacelles etc. For this position we look for an Electrical engineer or Marine engineer with knowledge of electrical design.
The department places high focus on an informal working environment and teamwork. We consistently score high on team collaboration in our employee surveys.

Additional Information
Primary work location will be in Hammel, Denmark.
Work on our other locations in DK must be expected in shorter periods. Travel activity will vary depending on our projects. Approximately 20 days of travelling abroad per year must be expected.

Responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be to specify, design and develop electrical systems for test of our turbines, which will include develop and describe concepts for test systems. Moreover, you will:
- Create risk assessments and ensure design at a high safety level
- Ensure quality assurance of your deliveries
- Supervise and guide internal and external electricians during the construction phase
- Coordinate the sub suppliers in your projects
- Ensure that the installation and erection of our equipment complies with our guidelines and if necessary, you are present onsite coordinating our installation activities
- Create final documentation and user manuals- You coordinate the sub suppliers in your projects

Qualifications
- You are educated as Electrical Engineer or Marine engineer and preferable have experience as Electrician or similar
- You have experience in reading electrical diagrams and documentation
- You are well experienced in the theories behind designing and dimensioning electrical systems
- You are experienced in working hands on with electrical systems
- You have a natural interest in, and knowledge to CE marking of machinery You have knowledge to EU standards and legislation within electrical design
- Knowledge to UL standards is not a requirement but will be an advantage
