Become responsible for Global Sales, Electricity in Kamstrup
Kamstrup is one of the world's leading manufacturers of intelligent metering solutions for energy and water consumption. We are experiencing high demand for our solutions and are investing massively in development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for wireless reading of consumption meters for electricity, water and heating. Due to the growing demand for our innovative and intelligent solutions, we are looking for a Head of Global Sales to lead our international sales team within the electricity business area.

With reference to our Senior Vice President, Electricity Division, you will be leading 20 employees in several international sales teams in Kamstrup. You will work closely with regional Sales Managers and your sales team in Denmark, where you will be daily reference for 7 employees. The team has a proactive and professional approach based on a thorough knowledge of the customer's business.

Sale of technical solutions focusing on value creation

As our new Head of Global Sales, you will be responsible for maintaining and strengthen our solid market position in current markets as well as initiatives to conquer new markets globally. Your focus area will be the sale of Smart Metering and Smart Grid products to the electricity sector, where you will be responsible for project sales and after sales services. As Head of Global Sales, you will also be the focal point of sales for our key accounts positioning and sales.

As the solutions are advanced and the Bid process comprehensive, you will be responsible for ensuring the collaboration and process of Product Management, Bid Management and Service and Support departments. Together with the integrated team in Denmark, you will perform professional sales procedures and optimize the knowledge sharing of the organization.

In the job you must expect around 70 travel days per year.

Personality matters
We are looking for an experienced sales leader who can identify business opportunities and navigate in international markets. You motivate your team to go the extra mile when big bids are in its final stages. You are able to create strong relationships with customers, you are good at familiarizing yourself with customers' business and conducting a dialogue on value creation. You have a strategic mindset and an ability to close complex deals. As a person, you are above all results-oriented, and you have good collaboration and leadership skills.

In the Electricity division, we work with Solution Selling processes that can last from 1-3 years before the order is won. It is therefore essential that you are able to lead a sales organization where you work with long-term sales.

Based on a commercial or technical university education your professional skills and experience form most of your qualifications. In addition, it is a requirement that you:

• Have minimum 5 years of experience with professional B2B sales on a strategic level
• Have minimum 5 years of experience in leading an international sales organization
• Have minimum 5 years of experience with large key account sales
• Have experience within the electricity and energy sectors

It is a requirement that you master English on a high level – both orally and written. If you practice Danish, German and the Scandinavian languages it will be an advantage.
