Secure overall system design and customer satisfaction
As part of our system management team, you join 4 senior specialists, each with expert knowledge within either mechanics, electrical systems or software and modularisation. Together, we act as the creative go-to experts, helping projects and ensuring that the overall system design is in accordance with standards, best practice and technology road maps across wind turbine platforms.
Taking on the role of senior electrical systems specialist, you will be looking at new technologies within your field and determining whether these can be of use to our control systems. In doing so, you will interact with a wide range of stakeholders as you work with both suppliers, external consultants and not least: World-leading wind turbine manufacturers. It will be your task to ensure customer satisfaction and to maintain our image as a professional partner with deep knowledge of wind turbine electrical control systems.
Moreover, your key tasks will be to:
• Generate ideas and make overall design proposals on electrical systems
• Drive projects to improve working methods, tools and processes
• Secure modularization and design reuse in our product portfolio, increasing the product quality and optimize R&D efforts
• Facilitate root cause analysis of defects and assist the quality manager and platform gate keepers
• Develop and support the IPR generation in the department
• Participate in design reviews across wind turbine platforms
Exceptional electrical engineer
As you are to interact with some of the best and brightest minds out there, we expect you to likewise exceed the norm. Furthermore, we expect you to be structured and to have an aptitude for building strong relationships with customers.
• You hold an engineering degree within electrical engineering
• You have experience with systems management/product management or have worked as senior specialist within wind turbines control systems HW, including mechanical construction, sensors and reliability
• It is a plus if you have knowledge of offshore, cooling, lightning protection, safety regulations, testing certifications, materials and corrosion
• You speak and write English effortlessly, and it is a plus if you speak Danish or Spanish
