We are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer who wants to be expert in his field and is at the same time willing to develop and push the design process forward, with high quality.
Together with our European colleagues, you´ll identify and find improvement opportunities and potential in the electrical design work as well as help to coordinate the implementation and development in Europe.
Tasks and responsibilities
During the first year, your main task will be to implement a standardized working method in EPLAN P8 with the starting point being to gain knowledge in our different processes, and from other colleagues in Europe. During the first year, the job is initially fulltime but will then decrease, as the tasks will be covered by more project-related electrical design. However, you will continue to have the main responsibility for the method and tool development and thus educate and support others both internally and externally.
2018 was a fantastic year for us, which means that the demand for our products is increasing strongly, hence high demands on continued efficiency and delivery ability.
Your profile
In order to succeed in this position, you need above all to be a person with high sense of responsibility, since this role means much freedom under responsibility. You have a solid experience of working with EPLAN P8, have a good working ability but also are a responsive leader who is good at communicating with your colleagues in different roles and countries.
In addition, you have a College degree in Engineering or relevant field. We expect you even to have a long experience of working with electrical engineering, preferably in automation. Furthermore, you have a genuine interest in electricity and technology. It is a plus if you have worked with Windchill and SAP.
It is a merit if you have experience in working with method and tool development, preferably in similar projects. Besides, your English is very good in both speech and writing. It is also an advantage if you can some German.
